  • November 17, 2012-I want to thank all who donated and volunteered for our food, coat and household supplies drive. Last Saturday, we were able to serve in excess of 500 meals to the storm victims of Far Rockaway. In addition to the meals, we issued 200 heaters, can foods, and an enormous amount of household supplies. The people were thankful, and appreciated everything they received. However, hot foods, heaters, blankets, can foods and household items are in great demand. We will continue to serve these people until their needs are fulfilled. We are still accepting donations of any of the items listed above. Any donation will be accepted. Some of us will be serving hot meals tomorrow. On Saturday, December 1st 2012, from 9am to 1pm, we will serve another group of 500 people, while issuing all the goods that will be collected between now and them. Thanks again for your kindness.
